Instance 1
The first time Jagland’s name appears is in an email exchange Epstein has with a contact in January 2013, where Epstein writes that Thorbjorn Jagland is a good friend. Epstein’s contact replies that he remembers having met Jagland at Epstein’s place; it is not described which of Epstein’s properties. Did you offer to fly him back to Europe on your jet?
Instance 4
A file that is not dated or signed contains what resembles a manuscript of some kind. The text describes what appears to be the same event as in instances 2 and 3:
"That evening, in the Epstein dining room (he seems rarely to use the rest of the house’s 50,000 square feet), there is a small cocktail party, which includes the former Prime Minister of Australian, Kevin Rudd, and Thorbjørn Jagland, the head of the Nobel Peace Prize Committee, who offers an affable, but generally scathing, critique of U.S. diplomacy (and a brief defense of Obama’s Peace Prize award) and to whom Epstein offers a ride back to Europe on his jet."
